Welcome to QIQO Translations.
We are a growing single-language vendor, a newcomer to the industry. BT QIQO, specializing in English to Polish localization and translation, started operating as translation and localization agency in May 2006, but some of our people have been in the business since 1996.
"Our goal is to grow, but not 'dilute', offering first-assignment service every assignment, remembering that 'quality in' must translate to 'quality out"
People are our most valuable asset.
The core of our production team is the most experienced linguists, who over as many as ten years in the business, have accumulated knowledge of the industry's ins and outs as well as the skills to turn that knowledge to practice, to our clients' advantage. They are active in both the Translation and Editing/Proofreading stages. It is them who are responsible for the internal LQA process, ensuring our deliveries are consistently up-to-standards.
On the other hand, we are constantly adding new people to the team, though always with one thing in mind: that growing capacities must not mean diminishing service quality. That is why all candidates have their Polish checked more thoroughly than their English – we believe mastering the target language is the real key to success in translation. Before any of our translators are assigned a lead role on a project or starts proofreading work completed by others, they need to work as a team member for as long as it is necessary for them to gain appropriate experience. These people are our future, and we make sure they have a chance to prove themselves.
Man and machine. Man, machine and software, actually.
We are proficient in many of the industry-standard tools, among them SDLX/SDL Trados, Idiom WS Desktop Workbench, IBM Translation Workbench, Intel International Developers Studio, ForeignDesk, Passolo, Catalyst, Microsoft Localization Studio and Microsoft Helium are just a few. We also use many supporting applications, like Beyond Compare, Funduc Search and Replace and more. We also utilize intranet-based tools: file exchange interface and project-specific forums. More information regarding tools and engineering tasks are available on request.
So, who is behind it?
